Wandering Methods

Artists Maeve Clancy and Linda Florence explored Rathfarnham Castle by Craft with Mary Bryans, Brigid Canning, Margaret Canning, Leslie Coffey, Mary Gallagher, Jennifer Grainger, Kaye Heerey, Daniel Mc Carthy, Michael Roche. Using photography, drawing, paper cutting and printing often for the first time people delved into the history and stories of the Castle, its architecture and decoration, and their own Rathfarnham associations. Craftspace and The Office of Public Works supported it, Lian Bell made it all happen and Killian Waters made this video so if you can see what happened and hear what we thought. We hope to do more of this next year, so get in touch if you’d like to participate.
